Tower Grove South resident Marti Frumhoff passed away suddenly in May, 2007. She worked tirelessly to build a strong Tower Grove South community and bring about a better City. She was a singer, Realtor(r), animal rights activist, friend, and mentor for many people.

One of her best known creations was the St. Louis Rehabbers Club - a group of 2,500 people dedicated to revitalizing St. Louis City through renovation and rehab of its historic buildings. Originally started as a project of Metropolis St. Louis, she spun it off into a stand alone non-profit organization called ReVitalize St. Louis.

A memorial garden is being established on a small piece of land on Morganford. Funds are being raised through donations and periodic fundraising events. More information can be found at this blog.
