Tower Grove Farmers' Market makes the A-List

Congratulations to the Tower Grove Farmers' Market & Bazaar which made the St. Louis Magazine 2008 A-List for the best Farmers' Market!

The Tower Grove Farmers' Market is a 501(c)(3) corporation with a wide variety of local produce, meats and other local food products.

It is open every Saturday from May 10 through October 25, 8:30am until 12:30pm in Tower Grove Park, West of the Pool Pavilion. (www.tgmarket.org)

2008 Morgan Ford Pet Parade!

The 2nd Annual Morgan Ford Pet Parade is hosted by the Tower Grove Business Association, with cooperation from Pride St. Louis, Inc.

The event is held annually in the Morgan Ford Business District off of Arsenal south of Tower Grove Park.

2008 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Parade Date: June 28, 2008
Registration, "Yappy Hour" and Pre-judging begins: 10 a.m.
Across from Stella Blues, 3269 Morgan Ford, St. Louis, MO 63116
All participants must be present by 11 a.m.
Parade begins: 12 Noon

Rehabbers Club Used Book Sale

It's finally here- the 2nd annual Rehabbers Club Used book sale! Come by after the Rehabbers Club tour Saturday morning or drop in during your visit to the History Fair. This year we're at 1912 Cherokee Street (a block from the Lemp Brewery), with a magazine lounge area at 1908 Cherokee (graciously shared with us by lecturer NiNi Harris and artist Sheila Harris).

It's finally here! On May 10 we will be celebrating the start of the third Tower Grove Farmers' Market season!

We have some great music lined up for the day to kickoff the return of the Harvest Sessions Music Series:

Candlelight Vigil and Peace March

As the third murder in the Tower Grove South Neighborhood in six months, residents unite in taking a stand with a Candlelight Vigil and Peace March.

Operation Brightside Blitz - April 19th

Project Blitz engages volunteers in cleaning up city neighborhoods. In 2008 Project Blitz runs from March 29th to May 17th.

Tower Grove South is part of Region 3 South

Region 3 South--April 19, 2008 Boundaries: Highway 40 & Wabash R.R. on the north; Grand on the east; Meramec & Chippewa on the south, and Macklind, Arsenal, & Kingshighway on the west.

Tower Grove South logo contest

Announcing: TGS Logo contest

The Block Captain Steering Committee is sponsoring a logo design contest!
Design a logo for Tower Grove South that we can use on our neighborhood website: http://towergrovesouth.org/

The logo will also be used by the Block Captains.
The cash prize is 100.00.

Steve Wilke-Shapiro (who created this website for us) will be the judge.

Deadline for submissions is April 12th.
All designs must be created by a TGS/H resident.

Marti Frumhoff Fundraiser

The next fundraiser for Marti Frumhoff's memorial garden (which will
be located on Utah and Morgan Ford Road in Tower Grove South) will be
at The Royale on Sunday, March 30 at 3 PM.

It's a hat design contest with three categories:

-Most Outrageous Hat
-Hard Hat
-Movie Theme Hat

First prize is $100.00.
Second prize is $75.00.
Third place is $50.00.

Donation entry fee is $30.00.
