It's a great way to meet your neighbors or put a face to a name of a frequent poster on the neighborhood Yahoo group.

THIS YEAR'S YARD SALES were a great success and rather popular again, the weather turned out to be fantastic! We saw lots and lots of traffic up and down our streets all day long. It was great! Thanks to all who held a sale and thanks to all who shopped til they dropped! We hope you found some bargains while helping to de-clutter our neighbors' garages, basements and closets!!!

NEXT YEAR we hope for much of the same...

To: Block Captains, Co-capts. and Friendly Neighbors Considering Volunteering as One or the Other

We invite you to attend our annual potluck social on Monday Jan 25th, 7:00 p.m, at GOH Comm. Ctr. (Juniata at Bent.) 4168 Juniata, actually. No featured speakers, we promise!

[Just to clarify, Police officer(s) WILL be present to answer questions, but there will be no "featured speaker". This is our annual "fun" meeting.]

Marti Frumhoff Memorial Garden Fundraiser

Christian Herman, a devoted TGS resident and caretaker of the Marti Frumhoff Memorial Garden, has partnered with Remains on Morgan Ford in TGS to do a fundraiser for the garden.

Clean out your closets and keep discarded clothing from the landfills while contributing to the long term maintenance of the garden.

SOUTH GRAND GREAT STREETS INITIATIVE: Public Informational Open House Meetings Tuesday, October 6, 2009

Attached is a press release and postcard announcing the next South Grand Great Streets Public Informational Open House Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, October 6, 2009. We encourage your participation and ask that you share the postcard flyer with your constituents so that they may have the opportunity to participate in the meetings as well. There will be two - two hour sessions conducted during that day in order to give the community the opportunity to attend the one that will best fit their schedule. Both sessions will be conducted in the exact same manner.

SOUTH GRAND GREAT STREETS INITIATIVE: Pilot Project Press Announcement

On behalf of East-West Gateway Council of Governments (EWGW), please accept the attached press announcement as official notice of the South Grand Great Streets Initiative Pilot Project kick off. Although the residents in your neighborhoods may not directly live in the area, they may work or frequent the businesses along the project corridor and should be informed of the pilot project.
